Blast from the past in the depths of my wardrobe. Back in the day as a textile designer- these were for Accessorize.
We were delighted to work with Hampshire-based charity SPUD on developing cog inspired laser cut window shutters as a feature of the new bicycle cafe on the old railway track, St Catherine's Hill, Winchester.
The brainchild of a group of local teenagers, they worked tirelessly with SPUD to raise £350,000 of community support to realize their concept - The Handlebar Cafe. We're on a roll with new designs for 2020 - here's a preview. Do get in touch to discuss these or your own ideas and how they may complement your project. We look forward to hearing from you. Our 'Bamboo' design laser cut in powder coated aluminium installed last week to complement the client's rattan furniture and water feature, creating a private outdoor room.
Our recent installation in the reception of Australia House featuring laser cut Eucalyptus foliage- I was quite tempted to hide a koala in there! Design concept and image courtesy of Phil Jordan of Jordan+Bateman Architects.
The Sunlit therapy room at Rudding Park Spa, Harrogate. Laser cut panels designed by Grace & Webb, inspired by sunlight filtering through leaves. Interior by Claire Horsley of Horsley and Feather Limited and image copyright of Tilly Johnson.
We had fun designing a laser cut bespoke pattern that 'climbed' the facade of new build apartments on Swansea High Street. Originally the concept was for a copper verdigris finish but I love the contrast of shimmering silver against its beautiful graffitied neighbour.
The architecture and concept is courtesy of Glenn Jones at Holder Mathias Architects. We felt priviledged to be asked by Siobhann Macleod of Axis Mason architects to work with her to create a laser cut corten monolith to remember the 603 St Helier parishioners who died during the First World War.
Siohann's winning design of two low monoliths, one in concrete and the other in corten to be lit at night, feature the names of the fallen as well as quotes from letters of the time. St Helier Constable Simon Crowcroft said "‘St Helier gave the greatest number of its residents to the conflict so it has been important to the parish to achieve this." Over the last month a total of nine large laser and water-jet cut screens in our 'Abstract Bark' pattern have been designed and supplied to The Solent Business Park, Fareham to enhance the newly refurbished office atriums.
We have added loads of recent laser cutting inspiration to our Pinterest board- there are endless designs and applications. Contact us on 01453 453566 to discuss how we can help you realise your ideas.
How exciting! Our laser cut balustrade design being installed into it's new home yesterday. It will be sprayed in situ. I can't wait to see the final results!
Our laser cut panels compliment Think BDW's glamorous interior for luxury apartments in Dalston.17/1/2017 We have just received these great images taken by the project manager Graham Chance at ThinkBDW Ltd - the property and design agency behind the Telford Homes Vibe development of luxury apartments in trendy Dalston E8, London.
